Service Basics
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using the Leap Pest Control website, requesting a quote, booking a service, submitting a form, communicating with us, or receiving pest control services, you agree to these Terms of Service.
If you are booking service on behalf of another person, property, business, co-op, landlord, housing provider, property manager, or organization, you confirm that you are authorized to request service and communicate with Leap Pest Control regarding that property or service request.
2. Age Requirement
You must be at least 18 years old to request services from Leap Pest Control. By submitting information or booking service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age.
3. Services Provided
Leap Pest Control provides pest control inspection, treatment, prevention, monitoring, reporting, preparation guidance, follow-up recommendations, and related support services for homes, apartments, co-ops, multi-unit housing, and other eligible properties.
Services may include treatment or support for bed bugs, cockroaches, rodents, ants, general crawling insects, and other pest concerns, depending on the property, pest type, conditions, access, preparation, safety, and service agreement.
Service recommendations may change after inspection or once additional site conditions are identified.
4. Customer Responsibilities
Pest control results often depend on access, preparation, sanitation, cooperation, follow-up, and property conditions. Customers, tenants, members, occupants, property managers, landlords, boards, or authorized representatives may be responsible for:
- Providing accurate contact, service, access, and property information.
- Ensuring safe and timely access to the treatment area.
- Following preparation instructions provided by Leap Pest Control.
- Removing or securing pets, children, personal belongings, food items, and sensitive items as instructed.
- Disclosing known safety concerns, infestations, clutter, contamination, allergies, hazards, restricted access, or special conditions before service.
- Following post-treatment instructions, re-entry timelines, cleaning guidance, and follow-up recommendations.
- Maintaining sanitation, storage, exclusion, and prevention recommendations where applicable.
Failure to follow preparation or post-treatment instructions may affect the outcome of service and any applicable warranty or follow-up coverage.
5. Health, Safety, and Site Conditions
Leap Pest Control may refuse, delay, stop, or modify service where site conditions are unsafe or unsuitable. This may include aggressive animals, unsafe structures, hazardous materials, illegal activity, biohazards, extreme clutter, lack of access, unsafe occupants, severe contamination, or any condition that may put technicians, occupants, or property at risk.
Additional preparation, cleaning, disposal, repair, exclusion, or third-party support may be required before pest control service can be completed.
Scheduling & Payment
6. Scheduling, Access, and Cancellations
Appointments may be scheduled through our website, phone, email, text message, booking link, or direct communication with Leap Pest Control.
- Customers should provide accurate access instructions before the scheduled appointment.
- Appointments may be rescheduled due to weather, safety concerns, technician availability, site conditions, or operational requirements.
- If access is not available at the scheduled time, a missed appointment, travel, or cancellation fee may apply.
- We ask that cancellations or rescheduling requests be made at least 24 hours before the appointment whenever possible.
- Late cancellations may be subject to a fee depending on the service type, travel, preparation, and scheduling impact.
7. Pricing, Quotes, and Payment
Quotes, estimates, and pricing are based on the information available at the time they are provided. Final pricing may change if the property condition, pest activity, preparation needs, service area, infestation level, access, clutter, safety conditions, or scope of work differs from what was originally described.
- Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Invoices may be issued for approved commercial, co-op, property management, or housing provider accounts.
- Late payments may be subject to collection activity, service delays, or additional administrative charges where permitted.
- Prices, service packages, warranties, and promotions may change without notice.
- Taxes, disposal, specialty products, preparation work, additional visits, and non-standard services may be extra unless included in writing.
8. Website Use
You agree not to misuse the Leap Pest Control website, forms, booking tools, content, or communication channels. You may not use our website to submit false information, interfere with website operation, attempt unauthorized access, scrape content, send spam, or use the site for unlawful purposes.
9. Third-Party Tools and Links
Our website may link to or use third-party tools such as booking platforms, payment processors, analytics services, communication platforms, maps, social media websites, or embedded content.

Results & Warranty
10. Service Results and Pest Activity
Pest control results can vary depending on pest type, infestation level, building conditions, neighbouring units, sanitation, clutter, access points, occupant cooperation, product limitations, preparation, and follow-up service.
Some pest issues require multiple visits, monitoring, building-wide cooperation, exclusion, sanitation improvements, repairs, or ongoing service to achieve long-term reduction.
Because pest activity can be affected by neighbouring units, building conditions, access points, sanitation, reintroduction, and occupant cooperation, Leap Pest Control cannot guarantee that pests will never return. Our goal is to provide professional treatment, guidance, and prevention recommendations to reduce and control pest activity based on the service plan.
11. Warranties and Follow-Up Service
Some services may include a warranty or follow-up period. Warranty terms vary by pest type, service type, property conditions, preparation, cooperation, and the written service agreement.
- Warranty coverage applies only to the pest and treatment area included in the original service unless otherwise stated.
- Warranty coverage may be void if preparation instructions are not followed.
- Warranty coverage may be limited or unavailable in cases involving clutter, poor sanitation, hoarding, structural issues, neighbouring infestations, lack of access, reintroduction, or untreated connected areas.
- Follow-up treatment must be scheduled within the applicable warranty period.
- Additional services outside the original scope may be quoted separately.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Leap Pest Control is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including loss of use, loss of income, business interruption, emotional distress, inconvenience, loss of personal property, or damages caused by pests, property conditions, third parties, lack of preparation, or reintroduction of pests.
Where liability cannot be excluded, Leap Pest Control’s liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
